Warne & Co. 1902 . This book provides a fascinating insight into
the learning habits of the late Victorian child with a wealth of black and white
illustrations present on most of the 74 pages. Illustrated by Various, Including
Louis Wain. There is a full page chromolithograph facing the frontispiece of three
young Victorian children, reading a book and surrounded by a variety of dolls
and animals. Within the contents there are three full pages of Louis Wain illustrations,
supporting a story titled 'The Ten Little Kittens'. The rest of the contents
include an illustrated alphabet, pictures of the seasons, birds, clocks and so
